BYE BYE ST BARTH...

May, Monday 26th, after a few farewell drinks at "Le Sélect"and a friendly dinner at "La Cantina", catamaran "Neptune's car" from catasailing.com and her crew leave Gustavia harbour under horn songs and whistles. First stop will be in the very next mooring of Colombier, in the heart of St Barthelemy's reserve.
Thuesday 27th, the whole crew wakes up a little bit foggy in the early morning. We are five for that transatlantic (the fifth transatlantic for the boat in two years). Yann and Shankaï are local from St Barth and have no sailing experience, Jacques, David and your captain are from Brittany... For three of them, this trip will be the first long sailing experience and the first Transatlantic...
In the morning, after a last complete check of the boat, we cast off. Many turtles swim around the boat, as to say good-bye to the friendly white cat and her crew.
Bye bye St Barth and all our friends, special thanks to Philou and Mimi (La Gamelle) and Momo from Choisy's bakery for their "Transatlantic special double-cooked bread". We think about you and will be back in St Barth on december...
June, Monday the 2nd, catamaran from catasailing.com and her crew sail around the Açores high pressure. After two days a little bit rough, the trip is quite and pleasant, and the boat slides easily at ten knots average. Within two days, we should catch a low pressure mooving staight to Brittany, and our estimate time arrival is around June the 10th... As we say in french, it smells like stable!!!
